Philips sgs306 trafficvision

Philips trafficvisions are lanterns that come in 2 sizes, The SGS205 trafficvision and the SGS306 trafficvision. The Philips SGS205 trafficvision is the smallest trafficvision, and it can have lamps up to 150w. The Philips SGS306 trafficvision, which is the largest trafficvision can have lamps above 150w. 

M25

These ones are on the M25. They are group controlled, meaning that they don’t have a photocell. They run 400w SON and are on 14M hexagonal columns. Some of them have their back cover missing and some have their glass missing!

These ones are on longer brackets, the columns appear to be the same brand.

These ones turn around in the wind, they are pointing in a different direction every time I go past!

This Philips trafficvision has somehow snapped in half! it’s been like this for many years!

This picture was taken from a bridge, the lantern on the right side is missing, but the other lantern appears intact.

Here is an intact column from the other side of the bridge, the second column closest to the photo was actually turning around while I was looking at it!

There are lots of Philips SGS306 tarfficvisions on the A30. They are flat-glass trafficvision and They have Royce-Thompson photocells and I believe they have a 250w SON-T lamp.
