Hello, I’m Tomas, a 13 year old street light enthusiast and collector based in Surrey, uk. I started liking street lights in late 2023, and I got my first lantern around April 2024. I’ve now got around 40 lanterns and 300 lamps. This site documents the street lights near me, and the street lights in my collection. It also has other things about lighting, such as my light bulb collection and the control gear for street lights that I have in my collection. I update this site a few times a month. We are two graduates of The Glasgow School of Art where we both studied Sculpture and have recently partaken in New Contemporaries 2026 at The Royal Scottish Academy. In light of our recent show, we are undergoing a collaboration that looks to evaluate the nostalgia associated with sodium vapour bulbs that are now hard to come by on the streets of the uk.
