Hello, I’m Tomas, a 11 year old street light collector in Surrey, uk. I have over 200 light bulbs and 16 street lights. My favourite type of light is SOX, but there isn’t much SOX around anymore sadly. There are mostly LED street lights now, but sometimes, you can find some SOX/ SON/ fluorescent or MH street lights. I will update this site once every weekend, but sometimes, I will update this site more. Also, some of my pictures are from google maps, but I am trying to get my own pictures to replace them. I agree about the LED lights - we have them where I live and they are absolutely rubbish. They should have consulted you before installing them.

This is an excellent website, full of really good information and great pictures! For street lamps, it will be interesting to see how they develop the idea of them being used for electric car charging also. Also, I found out that when more than 3 street lamps are on a single road, it means the speed limit is 30. The other fact I know is that the street lamps on The Mall by Buckingham Palace are able to collapse half way down so they can be folded and The Mall be used as an emergency runway for the Royal Family.
