The Philips MI50 is a 26/ 35w SOX lantern. It has a aluminium canopy and the gear is mounted on a gear-tray. It has a polycarbonate bowl like the later Mi26 and it was available in side-entry or top-entry.

This Philips MI50 is on queens road, sunninghill. It is a really nice old installation. It is a top-entry MI50 on a concrete utilities column.
