My collection: WRTL 2600
This is my WRTL 2600. The gear isn’t original, as the original gear nearly broke two lamps, one Edison 70w SON-E lamp and one osram 70w SON-T lamp, but it did work with Philips lamps. Luckily, it didn’t break any of the lamps, but it nearly broke them. I did replace the original gear with a 70w SON electronic ballast, however I’ve now installed some new magnetic gear. I also replaced the original 2-part photocell with a mini-cell when I got the lantern, but I’ve now replaced the mini-cell with another 2-part photocell that’s similar to the original one, it’s just got a few cracks on it. The original 2-part photocell is on another lantern. To see the old pictures of what this lantern was like before I changed the gear, chick on the link below.
To open the lantern, there are two plastic clips on the side of the lantern, to unclip them, you can pull them forward. One of the clips on this 2600 is broken.
Here is the insides of the lantern.
