Here is the second urbis ZX3 in my collection. This one runs 250w SON like my other ZX3, but this one has flat-glass instead of a bowl. It was made in 1997, and the ballast in it is really loud, but it still works well.

Here is the insides of the lantern. The lantern is opened by unclipping two clips at the back of the lantern, and hinging the back canopy towards the front of the lantern.

Here is the 250w SON lamp in its removable lampholder. I actually took this lampholder from my other ZX3, as I need to repair the original lampholder as the lamp kept getting stuck in it.

The lantern warming up. I had a 1990s Philips SON lamp the lantern came with in it while it was warming up.
