The holophane caribe is a globe lantern, and it was available with three globe designs, and they have a large, cylindrical retractor in them. They have a polycarbonate globe.

These holophane caribes are in a car park next to Centre:MK, Milton Keynes. Some of them are dayburning, and they run SON lamps, but some look to have been retrofitted with Philips trueforce core lamps.

Here is one that looks to have been retrofitted with a Philips trueforce core lamp, they are a nice warm white colour too!
