Looks like it’s trying to impersonate a SON or SOX lamp as they genrally go black or brown when EOL, Intresting to see a halogen do it as normally they just fail where the fillament snaps or goes cloudy, or in some cases if their feeling feisty they explode when they fail as once happened to one in my back garden 🤣
That’s interesting that one actually exploded in your back garden! The one in my back garden has surprisingly never failed, and if it ever does, it’ll probably need the screw drilled out as it’ll probably strip!😂 The PIR sensor on it also doesn’t work!😂
